We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join us as a Neighbourhood Assistant in Newcastle.
As Neighbourhood Assistant, you will be responsible for identifying repairs and health and safety issues and you will have an effective and supportive relationship with our customers and the wider Housing Management team to be solution focussed.
What youll do
You'll work 2.5 days per week in the community, cleaning our communal blocks within our leasehold estates in Newcastle
This role is responsible for the cleanliness of the internal and external areas on our estates
Reporting any repairs or hazards in communal areas to our repairs team/Housing Manager and follow up actions as required.
You'll work Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.
Permanent, part time (18.5 hpw).
Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.

You have
You will have experience of undertaking cleaning duties
Experience of working in small teams
Basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety considerations
Ability to use a smartphone and laptop
Experience of working alone and as part of a team, will have a positive, can-do attitude and ability to work using your initiative.
You'll have a full driving licence.
A company van is included as part of the role.
