About the role
You'll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.
You’ll learn how to:
- Inspection, testing, installation and fault-finding skills
- Safe working practices and risk awareness
- Work safely on site, following health and safety guidelines
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping
- Progress through applying learning, working safely and gaining independence toward qualified status.
What qualification will you gain?
Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship, delivered by New College Durham. You’ll combine on-the-job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long-term career.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who:
- Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-4 (A*-C)
- Are IT confident, or at the very least have a basic understanding
- Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both verbal and written
- Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment
- Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
