We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join us as a Neighbourhood Assistant in Teesside, Durham and Sunderland.
As Neighbourhood Assistant, you will be responsible for identifying repairs and health and safety issues and you will have an effective and supportive relationship with our customers and the wider Housing Management team to be solution focussed.
Typical day as a Neighbourhood Assistant
– Neighbourhood Assistants cover approximately 50 communal blocks across Teesside, Durham and Sunderland.

– This role is responsible for the cleanliness of the internal and external areas on our estates

– Reporting any repairs or hazards in communal areas to our repairs team/Housing Manager and follow up actions as required.

– Working Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm.

– Travel is required, you must hold a current full UK Driving Licence.

– You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.

About you
– You will have experience of undertaking cleaning duties

– Experience of working in small teams

– Basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety considerations as they apply to this role.

– Ability to use a smartphone and laptop to access company emails and log repair and health and safety issues.

– Experience of working alone and as part of a team, will have a positive, can-do attitude and ability to work using your initiative.

– You\’ll have a full driving licence and access to a car to visit our properties across Teesside, Durham and Sunderland, as required
