About the role

Youll play a key role in implementing data protection best practice across Home Group. Working closely with the Data Protection Manager, youll support compliance delivery by advising colleagues on the lawful and responsible use of personal data. Using your expertise, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference for our customers and colleagues. From consulting on new systems to handling data breaches and complex information requests, this is a hands-on role where your judgement, communication skills and attention to detail really matter.

What youll do
Provide clear, practical data protection advice across services and projects.
Lead on managing data breaches and supporting proportionate risk decisions.
Manage governance records and management reporting, including our Records of Processing Activities.
Complete complex Information Rights Requests, handling sensitive records with care.
Complete and review Data Protection Impact Assessments with confidence.
Support teams designing new systems and ways of working involving personal data.
Spot compliance gaps and turn them into practical, workable improvements.
