Position: Housing Management Worker
Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) plus benefits including a cash Health Plan
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join our team in Cumbria as a Housing Management Worker. You will support our customers by ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained, managing tenancies, rent accounts, and engaging with the community to promote well-being and social activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support older clients over 55 and younger clients with learning disabilities.
- Assist customers in maintaining their homes and engaging in their communities.
- Help with housing benefit claims and ensure rent accounts are up to date.
- Conduct routine safety and compliance checks on properties.
- Manage administrative tasks including record updates, ordering, and payment arrangements.
Candidate Profile
- People-oriented with experience in property management or compliance is a plus.
- Positive, proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
- Passionate about customer service and helping others.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Enthusiastic about property management and maintaining high standards for customer homes.

Job Details
- Flexible working hours, typically 7.50 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
- Based at our Wigton service, with a mix of customer visits and office work.
- Use of technology for records, benefit claims, and tenancy management.
- Occasional coverage of other schemes and team meetings; a vehicle insured for business purposes is required (mileage paid).
- An Enhanced DBS check is required, paid for by us.
