What you’ll do
- Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, you’ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their licence agreements.
- Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
- Sometimes issue warning letters or attend court if needed.
- Getting rooms ready for the next customers who need our help and for maximum occupancy, you’ll turn around vacant or void rooms within set timescales.
- Keeping us compliant with maintenance and health and safety standards

You have
- Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties
- Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
- Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues
- The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
- Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners
- Four week rolling rota to include one in every three weekends, working 11.5 hour shifts, 3-4 days per week
- Based at our services in Exeter
- Use technology for support plans, benefit claims and tenancy sign-ups
- You\\’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
