What you’ll do:
- Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Surveyors, to deliver the right output, content and quality services.
- Support customers by solving challenges and improving property standards.
- Manage performance, and provide strategic direction for the surveying team.
- Lead by example across inspections, preparation of specifications, and ensuring repairs standards are met.
- Be the technical expert and lead on complex repairs, damp and mould, disrepair, adaptations and HHSRS.
- Keep track of budgets and influence how we deliver great value.

You have:
- RICS, CIOB accredited Building Surveying degree or equivalent qualification and/or strong experience built up through your working profession.
- A PCA QT level qualification or a willingness to complete this qualification.
- Great knowledge of housing legislation, HHSRS and building compliance.
- Confidence with damp and mould advice and managing complex repairs.
- A self-starter mindset with care and attention to detail.
- A collaborative way of working and clear, calm communication skills.
The practical bits:
- You’ll work Monday to Friday.
- You’ll manage your own diary, so if you want to take a longer lunch, you can use your flexi time to manage that!
- To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
- You need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
