Job Description - Flexible Bank Supported Living Worker CQC (251024)

Job Title: Flexible Bank Supported Living Worker

Location: Seacroft, Leeds (across 3 services)

Pay: From £12.60 per hour, weekly pay

Description: Supporting older people aged 55+ with care needs to live independently in their own homes, making a positive difference daily.

Typical Day as a Care Worker

  • Support customers with diverse needs including frailty and dementia in their apartments.
  • Assist in maintaining or regaining independence through daily activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, support planning, and reviews.
  • Provide personal care for customers with complex needs, including bathing and dressing.
  • Deliver support based on personal support plans, respecting dignity and valuing customers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Care Certificate or willingness to complete within 12 weeks.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience, or willingness to study for it.
  • Passion for supporting customers to live their best lives.
  • Ability to work independently, remain calm, and be resilient.
  • Experience in risk management and empowering customers through care plans.
  • Flexible, personal approach to individual customer needs.

Team and Reporting

Report to Melissa, Registered Manager, and work alongside our Care and Support team, housing management, including a Client Service Manager, Lead Reablement Workers, and Reablement Workers.

Job Details

  • Work on a rota basis with shifts between 07:00 and 22:00, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Flexibility to adapt start and finish times as needed to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in regular training and team meetings.
  • Use technology for updating support plans, online learning, and collaboration.
  • Enhanced DBS check required (paid for by us).
