Job Description – CQC Supported Living Worker (251002)

Supported Living Worker – CQC Accommodation Based

Location: Driffield, Albion House

Type: Permanent, part-time (16 hpw), includes day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins

Salary: £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) [pro-rata] plus benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as our Supported Living Worker

  • Assist customers with daily living tasks to promote independence
  • Support with activities like cooking, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining tenancies
  • Help attend appointments, hobbies, college, or work
  • Support personal care and medication needs as per support plans
  • Conduct risk assessments, support planning, and reviews
  • Build rapport through conversations and team collaboration

You have

  • A Level 2 or above in social care or willingness to work towards it
  • Passion for supporting others and attention to detail
  • Experience caring for others, either professionally or personally
  • Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and be resilient
  • A flexible and personal approach, understanding individual needs
