Pay £14.06 per hour and £50 per shift. Casual / Flexible Work, hours to suit you. West Cornwall, Falmouth, Cambourne, Penzance or any surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person‑centred support.
- Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
- Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
- Work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers.
- Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community.
What we’re looking for
- Flexibility to work at short notice and pick your next shift.
- Confidence to work in different services, locations or teams and get on with colleagues.
- Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
- Previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively.
- The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.
Role can be worked in any of our residential services in West Cornwall or within our Outreach Floating support as and when required. When on the flexi bank, the choice really is yours!
Practical details
- Hours depend on which service you agree to work in; could be Mon‑Fri (9-5) or weekend/evening shifts (whichever suits you as we have a variety of different services).
- Work flexibly across West Cornwall in residential (Homeless, ASC) or Outreach Services. This could be in Falmouth, Cambourne, Penzance or any surrounding areas.
- Office base location can be discussed/finalised at interview (Falmouth/Cambourne/Penzance). Mileage will be paid from base location for any travel within work time.
- You need an Enhanced with Barring List (we pay).
- A vehicle insured for business use (and a licence!), we’ll pay for any business mileage.
