Permanent, full time (37.5 hours) in Bude, North Cornwall (occasionally travel to Launceston service).

What you’ll do:

  • Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person-centred support.
  • Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
  • Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
  • Work with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers.
  • Help customers build independence and prepare for their potential move-on into the community.

You have:

  • Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it).
  • Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.
  • The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.

The main service based at Bude is part of our contract with Cornwall Adult Social Care to provide non-CQC regulated care and housing support for 6 customers living in self-contained flats.

The practical bits:

  • You’ll work between 09:00 and 17:00 five days a week, Monday to Friday. There may be a situation to work outside those hours, so some flexibility would be needed but this would not be routine.
  • You will be working alongside another Support Coordinator colleague at each service but there may also be occasional lone working on-site.
  • You will get regular supervision, have access to lots of training and regular team meetings with other colleagues across the contract.
  • You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay).
  • A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage travel between your base (Bude) and Launceston.
