The predicted salary is between 25838 - 25838 ÂŁ per year.
Pay ÂŁ13.21 per hour (ÂŁ25,838 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan.

Location: Cornwall - Bude and Launceston.
As our Housing and Property expert, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to secure, long-term accommodation.
What you’ll do:
- Customer group – Adult Social Care Customers.
- Making sure that our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of, you’ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help our customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring that these are received on their rent account.
- Issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court when necessary.
- Turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales to prepare for the next customers who need our help.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and that maintenance standards are met.

You have:
- Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties.
- Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
- Confidence in working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.
- The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds, whilst being able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues.
- A “can do” positive attitude, being proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative.
Work pattern:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
- Based at our service in Bude, you’ll spend your time travelling around the properties in Bude and Launceston.
- Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign-ups.
- You’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes; we’ll pay your mileage!
- An Enhanced DBS check is required, and we pay for that.
