You’ll be providing a housing management service, supporting customers to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work.
What you’ll do:
- Working with our independent living over 55’s customers.
- Supporting customers with housing benefit claims.
- Making welfare calls or carrying out defect checks throughout the building.
- Ensuring that our customers’ properties and communal areas are homes they can be proud of.
- Engaging and involving customers in their tenancies.
- Working with the team on ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.
- Joining our wider services in Central region, with the ability to pick up shifts in any of these services that need it.
You have:
- Enjoyment working with a range of customers and different people to support with their housing.
- Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
- Experience in a supported housing or housing related background, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Some know-how of re-letting rooms, collecting rents and knowledge of tenancies.
- The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
- Able to use technology for creating and updating risk assessments and customer information, doing mandatory learning and keeping in touch with colleagues.
- A vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage will be paid.
- An Enhanced DBS check (we pay for that).
