We have two roles available and as part of our commitment to creating real opportunities, one of these roles will be reserved for a Home Group customer. This could be a person who currently uses our services, has used them before, or is supported through our care or housing services.

About the role
You’ll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.
You’ll learn how to:
- Prepare surfaces and apply plaster to walls and ceilings in customers’ homes.
- Carry out both solid and fibrous plastering tasks.
- Work safely on site, following health and safety guidance.
- Use tools, equipment and materials correctly and responsibly.
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping.
- Record work accurately and conduct quality checks as part of your apprenticeship.
What qualification will you gain?
Level 2 Plastering apprenticeship, delivered by Newcastle College. You’ll combine on-the-job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long-term career.
