Hope Haven is a new and innovative partnership across a number of partners including Home Group; Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust; Everyturn; ICAN; The Well; Cumbria Health and others.
As part of Home Group’s offer, we are delivering community outreach supporting people with their mental health in the community; proactive groups and drop-ins within the community; core support within the new “Hope Haven Hub” which is due to open shortly; as well as providing 4 short stay accommodation beds for people who require that little bit of extra support.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and support a brilliant team of support workers and coordinators so they can deliver person-centred care.
- Join daily “Team of the Day” meetings to share ideas and work together with partners for wraparound support.
- Keep a close eye on the detail, coaching the team to make sure every intervention makes a real difference.
- Work alongside partners inside and outside of Hope Haven to put the right support in place.
- Take part in Clinical Meetings to help shape and improve how the service runs.
- Be part of the management team running everything from community outreach and the Hope Haven Hub to short-stay accommodation, proactive groups and drop-in.

You have:
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting people and delivering amazing results.
- Experience, passion and enthusiasm to set up a new and innovative service.
- Experience of leading a team, and have the knack for empowering and developing others.
- The ability to be able to work in partnership with other agencies, building and fostering excellent working relationships.
- It’d be great if you’ve worked in a similar environment.
- To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
The practical bits:
Hope Haven is a 24/7 service, you will predominantly work 9am – 5:30pm at times, you may need to change your working hours to fit in with the needs of the service and to support your team. Occasional weekend working is required. You’ll spend the majority of your time in the service and working from the Hub which is due to open shortly.
