Salary circa £40K per annum plus 34 days leave rising to 39 and a pension matched up to 7%.

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) Newcastle upon Tyne, Hybrid.

Youll build web solutions people rely on every day. Working in an agile team, youll turn ideas into reliable digital services that make life easier for customers. This is a role where you can grow your skills, learn from others, and see your work make a real difference.

What youll do:

  • Build high quality web solutions using modern JavaScript technologies.
  • Work closely with developers, UX designers, testers and product owners.
  • Write clean, accessible code with testing built in from the start.
  • Take part in agile ceremonies and help improve team ways of working.
  • Support live services and help resolve issues when they arise.

You have:

  • Experience working as a web or software developer, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in React, TypeScript, Node.js and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience building APIs using REST or GraphQL with PostgreSQL.
  • Testing tools such as Jest, Cypress or React Testing Library.
  • Worked in an Azure cloud environment with CI/CD pipelines.

The practical bits:

  • You'll work Monday to Friday.
  • Hybrid working, from home and two days a week from our office in Newcastle City Centre.
