As our Housing and Property Lead, youll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained.
Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!
What you'll do Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, youll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales.

You have Experience in managing a housing caseload and handle landlord and housing management duties Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners The practical bits Work pattern will be between 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday Based at our service in Sunderland, there is an expectation you offer housing management support across other services in the area if required Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups, Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
