We are looking for a dedicated night worker who won’t fall asleep on the job! Here at Home Group, we look after vulnerable customers, including those with complex care needs.
What you’ll do:
- Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas.
- Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning.
- The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network isn’t around to help.
You will receive great training, support from friendly colleagues, and a chance to make a real difference every day.
You have:
- Calmness under pressure with great communication skills.
- Passion and experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally.
- Good judgement and clear communication.
- The ability to recognise when things are about to go wrong and confidence in intervening in a sensitive way.
The practical bits:
- Travel between our 2 buildings in Redruth and Camborne.
- Working a rolling rota, covering 7 days a week, between the hours of 8pm and 5am.
- Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues.
- You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it).
