What you'll do:
- Lead sourcing for a range of categories or services, ensuring value and compliance.
- Develop strategies that drive value and reduce risk.
- Guide stakeholders through tenders and contract decisions.
- Use data and insight to improve supplier outcomes and reduce risk.

You have:
- Led sourcing and tendering for a range of categories or services.
- Strong commercial skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Experience managing supplier performance and contracts.
- Knowledge of procurement law or equivalent experience.
- Confidence using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes.

The practical bits:
- You’ll work Monday to Friday.
- We work core hours between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 with flexibility built in.
- We work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Newcastle upon Tyne office, with the rest from home. Our anchor day is Monday, and you pick your preferred second day.
