The predicted salary is between 14.06 - 14.06 £ per hour.
Pay £14.06 per hour (£27,500 per annum, pro rata) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan. Permanent, part time (33.5 hpw), Monday to Friday, 6.7hrs per day in the Derby and Birmingham area.
This is a great opportunity to join our team. As our Housing and Property Lead, you'll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you'll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to secure, long-term accommodation!
What you'll do:
- Making sure that our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of, you'll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
- Where there is a need, you'll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.
- Getting rooms ready for the next customers who need our help and for maximum occupancy, you'll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales.
- Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

You have:
- Experience in managing a housing caseload and handling landlord and housing management duties.
- Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
- Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues.
- The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
- Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.
The practical bits:
- Flexible working hours (or we're open to agreeing a work pattern with you).
- You'll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
- You will be managing properties throughout Derby City / Derbyshire and also properties in Sutton Coldfield and Halesowen in Birmingham.
