What you'll do:

  • Lead sourcing for a range of categories or services, ensuring value and compliance.
  • Develop strategies that drive value and reduce risk.
  • Guide stakeholders through tenders and contract decisions.
  • Use data and insight to improve supplier outcomes and reduce risk.
  • Help shape a best-in-class procurement service.

You have:

  • Led sourcing and tendering for a range of categories or services.
  • Strong commercial skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Experience managing supplier performance and contracts.
  • Knowledge of procurement law or equivalent experience.
  • Confidence using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes.

The practical bits:

  • You’ll work Monday to Friday.
  • We work core hours between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 with flexibility built in.
  • We work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Newcastle upon Tyne office, with the rest from home. Our anchor day is Monday, and you pick your preferred second day.
