As our Housing and Property Lead, you'll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you'll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!\n What you'll do \n \n• Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, you'll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.\n \n• Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.\n \n• Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, you'll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales.\You get great training, support from friendly colleagues and a chance to make a real difference every day. n You have \n \n• Experience in managing a housing caseload and handle landlord and housing management duties\n \n• Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.\n \n• Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners\n The practical bits \n \n• Permanent, part time (22.5 hpw). You'll work a mixture of 8:00am to 4:00pm and 12:00pm to 8:00pm shifts. Flexibility is required, as shifts may be worked on any day between Monday and Friday, with one Saturday worked every two weeks.\n \n• Based at our service in Wymondham you'll spend your time travelling around the properties predominantly in Wymondham, however it will include the Norwich area.\n \n• You'll work with customers who have experienced homelessness and have a variety of needs including but not limited to offending, physical/mental health and substance misuse.\n \n• Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups,\n \n• To get from A to B, you'll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.
