What you’ll do:

  • Work with customers who have experienced homelessness with a variety of support needs including but not limited to substance misuse, offending, physical and mental health.
  • Assist customers with their practical daily living tasks and work through support plans, helping them to achieve independence.
  • Provide overnight support during sleep-in shifts or work day shifts.
  • Support vulnerable customers in accommodation-based services, registered care homes, or community/home-based settings.

You have:

  • Enjoyment working with a range of customers.
  • Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
  • Experience as a Support Worker in a similar environment.
  • A positive, can-do, and caring attitude, with the desire to learn and continue making a difference to our customers' lives.
  • Previous experience of working with support plans, recording, and using information concisely and effectively.

The practical bits:

  • Flexible working hours.
  • We pay £50 per sleep-in shift.
  • Work across the Central region including our services in Norwich/Wymondham/Bury St Edmunds.
  • Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, doing mandatory learning, and keeping in touch with colleagues.
  • A valid driving licence and a vehicle insured for business purposes are required; we’ll pay your mileage!
  • An Enhanced DBS check is needed, and we pay for that.
