What you’ll do:
- Lead a mixed social housing portfolio, delivering our operational plan and strategy.
- Drive financial and operational performance to hit key targets.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure homes and communities are safe, high quality and meet regulations.
- Coach and support teams to create a high-performing region and great place to work.
- A commitment and passion for the difference social housing makes to people’s lives and communities.
Qualifications:
- Strong established leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of social housing sector and housing regulations.
- A sharp commercial eye and experience managing Profit and Loss accounts, driving value for money.
- Ability to build stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across teams.

The practical bits:
- You’ll work Monday to Friday, working a 7.5 hour day between 08:00 and 18:00.
- We typically work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Newcastle office, the rest working in the wider patch or from home.
- You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage.
- You need an Enhanced with barring list DBS check that we pay for.
