National (home based with travel)

As our Mental Health Practice Lead in our virtual national clinical hub, youll support colleagues across our national supported and general needs housing services to deliver life-changing outcomes for customers.
Youll use your expertise to guide, advise and inspire our teams nationwide β raising standards, embedding Psychologically Informed Environments, and helping customers live independently and reach their goals.
What youll do
- Support and develop teams to boost customer independence and improve outcomes.
- Help identify and manage risk to deliver the best results for customers.
- Drive practice development by promoting open, reflective practice, group supervision, and build colleague confidence in supporting customers, coaching and guiding colleagues and managers.
- Enhance colleague engagement with external professionals for a multi-professional approach.
- Contribute and engage in service improvements and audits as required.

What you bring
- Youre a Clinician registered with your relevant professional body youre either a qualified Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker
- Youll have experience working with customers/patients with challenging mental health issues, and ideally have some experience of supporting colleagues or teams to understand mental health
- The ability to develop and deliver specialist training packages to your colleagues, embedding core competencies.
- Facilitate and lead reflective practice and risk formulation meetings as required within service.
- An ability to work as part of a remote, national team with experience running virtual meetings and workshops.
- Able to inspire others and advocate a philosophy of support that is person centred, maintains dignity, independence, and ensures it is right for that person at that time.

Our team
Youll join Jacqui our Operations Manager in the Midlands, who has managed supported services for over 17 years! Youll also join our Clinical Team Leader Alex along with the rest of the team.
As well as being part of the Clinical Hub you will be part of a well-established MHPL workforce who are very supportive of each other. Were a national team, and even though we are spread out a bit, were a communicative bunch and will help you settle right in.

- Flexible working hours (were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)
- Flexibility to work remotely and virtually whilst delivering clinical work, if theres a local office to you, you can work there too!
- To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!
- Youll manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, were ok with that!
- Well support with your continual professional development as well maintaining your professional registration through regular clinical supervision and reflective practice.
- Youll need a valid Enhanced DBS check to do this job. We pay for that if you dont have a transferrable one.
