We are the multi skilled hands-on practical support that helps our colleagues deliver services to our customers.
We work with customers who have Complex support needs, such as mental health, ex-offenders, young families and learning disabilities across a mix of properties and grounds.
As our handy person, youll spend much of your time working across different services, extra care service and properties.
What you'll do Perform minor or emergency repairs, decorating and cleaning in properties and communal areas, including some gardening Handle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds.
Carry out regular fire safety checks.
Work with colleagues, contractors and customers.
Liaise with Customer Service Centre and contractors to report and follow up on repairs outside your remit.

General maintenance know-how, a bit of carpentry, basic plumbing and confidence with a paintbrush or broom Comfortable working and communicating with people from all walks of life.
Ability to use technology for emails, completing e Learning, annual leave requests and organising your job requests and calendar.
To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.

The practical bits We mainly work Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm, but were flexible as long as we meet our customers needs.
You'll be based at Bosham Close in Toothil and travel around the properties in our Swindon and Wiltshire Patch Occasionally you'll head outside the patch for all hands-on deck situations.
Youll need a Standard DBS check, we pay for it.
