The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will help people with complex needs live more independently, where no two days are the same. One moment you are helping someone take a big step towards their goals, the next you are supporting them through life’s everyday ups and downs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead support planning, coordinate and work with our Support Workers to deliver person-centred support.
  • Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
  • Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
  • Work with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers.
  • Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community.

Requirements:

  • Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it).
  • Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.
  • The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.
  • Experience working with people with mental health conditions.

Other details:

  • The service is 24hrs with sleep-in shift cover; you will be expected to be flexible to cover the rota in the service.
  • You will be working a mixture of days, evenings, weekdays and weekends and sleep-in shift cover.
  • A lot of the team like to work condensed hours and complete longer shifts to complete their working hours over fewer days - we are flexible to accommodate this.
  • This role is primarily for our service in Worcester, but there will be an expectation to cover all parts of the service when needed - this will be covering Worcester and Kidderminster and our dispersed properties in the community.
  • A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we will pay for any business mileage.
  • You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay).
