Earn circa: £50,000 pa (depending on skills and experience), plus 34 days leave (including bank holidays and a me day) with family friendly policies. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw). Working from our Leeds office 2 days per week and the rest from home.

As a Maintenance Contract Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating contractors and stakeholders to ensure homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage contractor relationships to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve contractual disputes and complaints efficiently, maintaining a focus on fair outcomes and service continuity.
  • Monitor and report on contractor performance against agreed KPI's, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement service enhancements.
  • Oversee contract budgets, ensuring financial control and value for money across all service areas.

You have:

  • A RICS or CIOB degree accredited Building Surveying degree or similar qualification, or strong equivalent experience built up through your working profession (that can be evidenced).
  • Strong knowledge of housing, building legislation and compliance.
  • Experience of managing contractors and resolving disputes.
  • Confidence using data to drive decisions and performance.
  • An experienced people manager.

The practical bits:

  • You'll work Monday to Friday.
  • You'll work core hours between 08:30 to 16:30 with flexibility built in.
  • We typically work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Leeds office, with the rest from home.
  • You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage.
  • You need a Basic DBS check that we pay for.
