What you’ll do:
- Assist customers with their daily living tasks to develop their independence, achieve their goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans.
- Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services.
- Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
- Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
- Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community.

You have:
- Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
- Confidence to work in different services, locations or teams and get on with colleagues.
- Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
- Experience of supporting others professionally or personally.
- Calm, confident decision-making even under pressure.
- Experience supporting adults with a mental health diagnosis, who may also have substance misuse issues/mild learning disability/high functioning ASD.
We have 4 supported housing services in the East of Ipswich, Suffolk.

The practical bits:
- We have three 24-hour services so shifts may be a combination of days/lates/sleep ins, including weekends and Bank holidays.
- While much of the shift may involve lone working, you will have access to support from colleagues across our services. You will also be provided with the People Safe App, as well as access to out-of-hours support.
- You need an Enhanced DBS and barring list (we pay).
