Positive Behaviour Support Worker in Hull

To provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. The role involves supporting people with their daily living needs and delivering care in line with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles where required.

What you’ll do:

• Support with daily living, personal care and choices, putting the customers' needs first.
• Work with team, clinical colleagues and families to create and follow support plans.
• Recognise their strengths and abilities and help them take the small steps at their pace, never losing sight of their dreams and aspirations.
• Use Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion through person-centred support.
• Spot changes in health or mood, act quickly, and work with others to keep everyone safe.

You have:

• Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs and promote independence and inclusion.
• Support daily living tasks including personal care, meals, and household activities.
• Manage behaviours of distress safely using Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Monitor health and wellbeing, administer medication, and report any changes.
• Maintain accurate records, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively as a team.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).

The practical bits:

• Able to use technology to update, create and update support plans, communicate with colleagues and complete online learning.
• We’ll make sure you have a fantastic induction with ongoing learning and support.
• A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check, we pay for it.
