This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in Norwich. As our Housing and Property Guru, youll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!
Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator
- Our customer group includes ex-offenders, substance users and other vulnerabilities.
- Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
- Where there is a need, youll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.
- Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, youll turn around vacant or void roomswithin set timescales.
- Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

You bring
- Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties
- Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
- Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues
- The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
- A can do positive attitude, youre proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative.
- Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

Job details
- The working pattern will consist of a mixture of shifts from Sunday – Thursday between 08:30 – 20:00.
- Based at our service in Norwich youll spend your time predominantly at Rosary Road or Barnard\’s Yard.
- Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups,
- Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
