As our Housing and Property Lead, youll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!\n What you'll do \n \n Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.\n \n Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.\n \n Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, youll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales.\You get great training, support from friendly colleagues and a chance to make a real difference every day. n You have \n \n Experience in managing a housing caseload and handle landlord and housing management duties\n \n Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.\n \n Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners\n The practical bits \n \n You'll work Monday - Friday 9am-5pm\n \n The role involves travelling to and working across our 20 properties within Southampton and Sarisbury Green.\n \n Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups,\n \n Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.\Thats why inclusion, wellbeing, and our diversity networks help make Home Group a great place to work!\n \n 34 days leave, rising to 39 (including bank hols and a me day to use for whatever you fancy) 800+ discounts on shops, holidays, days out, tech and more\n \n Instant pay access with Stream\n \n Matching pension contribution (up to 7% and life insurance of 3x basic salary)\n \n Top 20 in the UK for Wellbeing\n Finally \n \nFor reasonable adjustments email .
