Salary £27,500 - 31,201, depending on experience. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), 9-5, Monday to Friday Guildford, Cyrenian House.

You’ll help homeless people with complex needs live more independently and move on. No two days are the same. One moment you’re helping someone take a big step towards their goals, the next you’re supporting them through life’s everyday ups and downs.
What you’ll do:
- Lead support planning and coordinate case work to deliver person-centred support
- Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads
- Support Customers with tasks like budgeting, benefit claims and attending appointments
- Work with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers
- Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on to more independent housing

You have:
- Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting.
- Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support
- The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach
- Understand the issues of homelessness and the challenges people face.

The practical bits:
Our supported accommodation is in Guildford, and this is a service based role. You will manage your own diary. You will work from an office base at our Guildford hostel but your customer group will be living in our 4 dispersed houses close by, preparing to move on. Although you will lone work, you will be part of the team with the hostel colleagues. You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay). A vehicle is not required but can be useful. You will need to be insured for business use and have a full licence; we’ll pay for any business mileage.
