Salary £35,000 - 45,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus a health cash plan saving you over £1140 a year.

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) Newcastle upon Tyne. We can't offer a CoS for this role.

What you'll do:

  • Support Boards and committees to plan, prepare and run effective meetings.
  • Create clear agendas, papers, minutes and action trackers for decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with executives and senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Keep governance policies and processes up to date.
  • Maintain registers and support audits, returns and regulatory compliance.

You have:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of governance, risk or compliance.
  • Experience supporting boards or senior meetings professionally and effectively.
  • Excellent writing skills to produce clear minutes and reports.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities confidently.
  • Confidence to build relationships and challenge constructively.

The practical bits:

  • You'll work Monday to Friday.
  • We typically work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Newcastle upon Tyne office, with the rest from home.
