What you’ll do
- Offer support and guidance to our customers, men with complex needs facing homelessness.
- There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from conducting support sessions to property management.
- One shift you might be staffing our front desk, the next you might be supporting a customer to an appointment!
- You’ll be helping our vulnerable customers in a variety of accommodation‑based service.
- Other tasks may include cleaning, preparing rooms to be let, admin, processing referrals, conducting accommodation assessments, and supporting customers with housing related issues and managing their accommodation.

You have
- Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
- You’re a real people person, confident to work in different services, locations or teams and get on with colleagues.
- You’ll have experience of supporting vulnerable people, and to be brilliant, you have a positive can‑do attitude and the desire to learn and make a difference to our customers lives!
- You’ll have previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively.
- You’ll have experience working in high pressure situations and dealing with anti‑social behaviours.
- You’ll have previous experience with property management.

The practical bits
- Flexible working hours (Our typical shifts are 7am‑3pm, 9am‑5pm, 11am‑7pm and 7pm‑7am)
- We’re looking for you to work at our service in Guildford, however we have other services in Surrey that you could also cover shifts at if it suits you.
- You must be able to use technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
- You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
