What you’ll do:

  • Supporting customers with daily tasks
  • Encouraging independence and celebrating wins
  • Creating a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first
  • Working collaboratively to empower our customers
  • Support customers with complex mental health, learning disabilities, substance misuse/dependency and dual diagnosis.

You have:

  • Passion to support our customers to live their best lives
  • Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure
  • Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs
  • A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it)

The practical bits:

  • 2x 30 hpw and 2x 22.5 hpw part time roles
  • Working a 4 week rolling rota with a mixture of weekends, early starts and late finishes along with occasional bank holidays
  • Based at Edendale House also supporting customers at Greenside House
  • You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
