What you’ll do:
- Supporting customers with daily tasks
- Encouraging independence and celebrating wins
- Creating a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first
- Working collaboratively to empower our customers
- Support customers with complex mental health, learning disabilities, substance misuse/dependency and dual diagnosis.
You have:
- Passion to support our customers to live their best lives
- Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally
- The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure
- Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs
- A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it)
The practical bits:
- 2x 30 hpw and 2x 22.5 hpw part time roles
- Working a 4 week rolling rota with a mixture of weekends, early starts and late finishes along with occasional bank holidays
- Based at Edendale House also supporting customers at Greenside House
- You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
