Make a real difference – every single day. At Home from Home Care, we believe that everyone deserves to live a full, meaningful life. For over 20 years, we’ve been supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs across 11 specialist homes in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside — and we’re proud to be rated Outstanding by the CQC and Platinum by Investors in People.

We’re looking for warm, patient, and enthusiastic people to join our ONE TEAM as Support Workers at our home in Bardney. No experience? No problem. What matters most is your values, your attitude, and your genuine desire to make a difference.

What will you be doing?

This isn’t a job where you’ll be watching the clock. Every day looks a little different – and that’s what makes it so rewarding. You’ll be supporting the individuals in our care to live life on their own terms: helping them build new skills, connect with their communities, and achieve their personal goals. Day to day, that might mean:

  • Supporting with daily living tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care – always encouraging independence
  • Planning and going on activities together, whether that’s a trip to the beach, a festival, a theme park, or a holiday
  • Providing practical and emotional support, and being a genuine advocate for the people you support
  • Recording care and progress using our state-of-the-art digital platform

What are we looking for?

You don’t need a CV full of qualifications. You do need to be:

  • Caring, patient, and reliable
  • A great communicator who genuinely listens
  • Someone who treats every person with dignity and respect
  • Comfortable working as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative

Previous experience in care is welcome but absolutely not essential – we’ll give you everything you need to thrive.

What hours will you work?

We operate a two-week rolling rota. Your shifts will include:

  • Early shifts: 07:00–15:00
  • Late shifts: 14:00–21:00 or 15:00–22:00
  • Every other weekend (with a £1 per hour enhancement for hours worked between 22:00 Friday and 07:00 Monday)
  • Some bank holidays
  • Occasional standby sleep-ins (paid at £81.81, plus your Loyalty Attendance Bonus where applicable)
  • One 14-hour shift per rota

What are the pay and benefits?

We think great care deserves great rewards. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Starting rate: £13.46 per hour
  • Your hourly rate increases by 1% each month with our Loyalty Attendance Bonus, rising to up to £14.26 after six months – rewarding you simply for showing up
  • RAPID Pay – overtime paid within 24 hours
  • EASE Payments – claim up to £100 in advance, up to twice a year
  • £100 bonus on completion of your probationary period
  • Fully paid training at your normal hourly rate
  • Free DBS check
  • Free Blue Light Card – discounts on the high street and online
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Access to our dedicated wellbeing team
  • Monthly one-to-ones – because your voice matters here
