Shift Working Patterns:
- 2 week rolling rota
- Start shift 07:00/08:00 finishing at 21:00/22:00 with flexible working shifts between these hours
- One 14 hour shift per week
- Every other weekend off
- Standby sleep ins
About You:
We’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers who are willing to bring their experience in a supported living environment to our team at HFHC Specialist Supported Living. For this role, you will need a keen drive to make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping the individuals we support to reach their potential and achieve to the best of their ability and goals
- Support the individuals to do daily living tasks, personal care while encouraging independence
- Support the individuals to plan activities such as going to the beach, theme parks, festivals, holidays, or simply being part of the local community
- Provide support, informal advocacy and information to the individuals we support
- Provide emotional and practical support to the individuals
- Accurately reporting and recording on our digital platform
- Contribute to the development and regular review of care plans for individuals
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues in all aspects of their role

The advertised hourly rate is based on a full-time contract in which you are expected to work every other weekend. HFHC Specialist Supported Living has implemented a £1 per hour pay increase when working between 22:00pm Friday to 7:00am Monday.
