The Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Fitter to oversee installation works across Carlisle and within a 60-mile operating radius. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical knowledge, organisational capability, and the ability to manage small fitting teams efficiently while maintaining high compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in insulation, damp proofing, or related works
- Experience leading or supervising small teams
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and installation standards
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Desirable (but not essential):
- NVQ or equivalent trade qualification
- First Aid or SSSTS certification
- Experience in energy efficiency schemes
