We are looking for a reliable, warm and proactive Home Help/Family Assistant to support our busy household in Grayshott. This role involves a blend of childcare, household tasks, and general family support. The ideal candidate will be organised, friendly, and confident working with children.
Location: Grayshott, Hampshire
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 2pm-6pm — this is negotiable for the right person; could be an earlier start/finish or a full-time arrangement
- Occasional weekend help/overtime — when needed and if able to, but not essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with the children after school
- Being proactive with activities, homework support, and after-school routines
- Attending after-school clubs with the children and parents when required
- Preparing and cooking family meals
- Weekly meal prep and making the children’s packed lunches
- Light cleaning, tidying and general housekeeping
- Washing, drying and folding clothes
- Helping to keep the home running smoothly and offering support where needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone dependable, positive and helpful
- Comfortable and confident working with children
- A full, clean driving licence (essential)
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to take initiative around the home
- Trustworthy, responsible and easy to communicate with
