The Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join our commercial team. This is a high-impact role focused on maximising revenue from our existing agent customer base through strategic product cross-selling and activation. Your primary mission: significantly increase attachment rates for our warranty, guarantor, and home services products across agents currently using our tenant referencing services. You’ll work systematically through our client portfolio, starting with our highest-opportunity accounts, converting single-product users into multi-product partners.
What You’ll Do
- Execute high-volume outbound calling campaigns to existing agents, identifying cross-sell opportunities across our product suite
- Drive product activation and adoption for warranties, rent guarantor services, home services, and complementary offerings
- Qualify opportunities, present product benefits, and close deals with decision-makers at lettings agencies
- Work collaboratively with our account management team to ensure seamless handover and ongoing client success
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking in CRM
- Achieve ambitious targets for agent activation per product and revenue growth
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform product development and commercial strategy
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ proven success in B2B telesales or business development
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets through outbound calling
- Strong preference for candidates with property or lettings industry experience
- Exceptional phone presence with the ability to engage, persuade, and close
- Self-motivated with high energy and resilience
- Comfortable with high-activity sales environments and KPI-driven performance
