Be the smile that makes a difference: As a dedicated Store Team Member, you will be the face of Home Bargains, providing enthusiastic customer service by assisting with product queries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will work as part of a team to maintain high standards across the store and support customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide enthusiastic customer service and assist with product queries.
- Support teamwork by helping with tasks such as watering plants, baking fresh goods, stocking shelves, and keeping displays and workspaces clean.
- Take charge during the fill shift by unloading deliveries and getting stock out on the shelves so customers can find what they need.
- Be versatile across multiple areas of the business; handle tills, manage cash transactions, restock shelves, and adapt to roles in the Café, Bakery, or Garden Centre as needed.
- Be enthusiastic, approachable, and ready to make a real difference in-store; enjoy working as part of a team and helping customers have a great experience.

Benefits and Work Hours:
- Salary: £12.21 per hour (18-20), £12.50 per hour (21+).
- Hours: 36 hours per week; must be available to work between 8am and 8pm.
- Employee benefits: 28 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to 33 days after 5 years of service (pro-rated for part-time or alternative working arrangements).
