Base pay range:
- £12.70 per hour (£14.91 per hour when delivering training).
- (19% night shift allowance paid between 10pm - 6am).
- 3 days on, 3 days off.
- Day shift 7am to 7pm.
- Night shift 7pm to 7am.

Job Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our collaborative team, supporting the day-to-day operations within our automated distribution centre at Omega Business Park off Junction 8 off the M62. In this role, you form part of the warehouse team and support the delivery of the warehouse operation.
As we move towards full operational capacity over the next 12 months, you will be stepping up to assist with the Warehouse Training more frequently than usual. During these periods, your hourly rate will be increased to reflect the additional responsibilities involved and your contribution to the development of our team.
You will take a blended approach to theory and practical based training including face to face, group and digital delivery to facilitate different learning techniques. You will engage with new and existing colleagues to ensure all training requirements are met both to individuals and respective teams.

Job Overview:
- Induction Training: Provide induction training to new colleagues on site.
- Practical Training: Conduct practical sessions to provide a high standard of technical training to support the warehouse operation including LLOPs, OPUs and Powered Pump Trucks (PPTs).
- Health & Safety: Ensure all colleagues are trained and adhere to onsite and machine health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Knowledge: Understand the role requirements to enable the delivery of correct job specific training including MHE.
- Proactive Approach: Support with the delivery of additional training and refresher training of colleagues as and when required.
- Support: Provide ongoing support throughout inductions and practical training using the correct assessments and evaluations.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Section Managers and wider leadership teams to ensure all onsite training requirements are covered across all shifts.
Experience in a training capacity would be preferable with certification for FLT and MHE Training. Have experience as an Operator within a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. Be experienced in supporting and guiding teams and delivery of training plans. Ability to prioritise and organise workloads. Proactive approach to problem solving, personal development and continuous improvement.
