Our Store Team Members deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product queries and providing a prompt service with a smile.
Store Team Members based in the Garden Centre will also cover general store duties when required.
Package
Salary & Hours
13.71 per hour (18-20), £14.00 per hour (21+).
- The above pay includes a non-contractual and non-transferable Regional Allowance (£1.00 per hour)
20 hours per week. Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Job Overview
Candidates will be hardworking, enjoy working in a retail store and have experience of cash handling, processing deliveries andpreferably have experience of working in a garden centre or similar.
Successful candidates are provided with on-the-job training and gain essential transferable retail and hospitalityskills.

Main job responsibilities include:
- Watering and maintaining plants
- Adherence to health and safety procedures
- Cash handling and card transactions
Some Store Team Members working in the Garden Centre may be asked to attend Fork Lift Truck (FLT) training at our National Training Centre and Head Office in Liverpool. Travel and accommodation is provided.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service
- Experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment - experience within a similar role is preferable
- Experience of manual handling and stock replenishment
- Hardworking and reliable
- Polite and professional
