Overview
Customer Service Extraordinaire – As a dedicated Team Member, you\’ll be the face of Home Bargains, delivering outstanding customer service with enthusiasm. You will assist with product queries, ensure prompt and friendly service, and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities
- Be the face of Home Bargains by delivering outstanding customer service and assisting with product queries.
- Support fellow team members to maintain high store standards, stock availability, presentation, cleanliness, and tidiness.
- Operate tills and handle cash transactions; ensure shelves are stocked and rotated.
- Work across areas including the Café, Bakery, or garden centres, adapting to store needs.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment.
- Experience of manual handling and stock replenishment.
- Hardworking and reliable.
- Polite and professional.
Hours, Pay & Availability
- £12.21 per hour (18-20), £12.50 per hour (21+).
- 1 x 20 hours per week – must be available between 4pm and 9pm.
- 1 x 8 hours per week – must be available between 5am and 9pm.
- 1 x 12 hours per week – must be available between 5am and 9pm.
Benefits
- Full-time employees receive 28 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to 33 days after 5 years of service. Annual leave is pro-rated for part-time or alternative working arrangements.
