Home and Away Student Services is currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking TEFL or CELTA qualified freelance teachers to join our summer programme team in Greenwich, South East London. This is an exciting opportunity to teach international students aged 11-16 in a vibrant and engaging classroom environment during our busy Summer 2026 programmes.
We are looking for teachers who are passionate about education, confident managing young learner groups, and able to create fun, communicative, and interactive lessons.
Role Overview- Teaching international students aged 11-16
- 3 hours of lessons per day
- 1-week teaching blocks throughout the summer
- Morning teaching schedule
- Freelance summer contract
- Deliver engaging English lessons to international students aged 11-16
- Plan and deliver student-centred activities and lessons
- Encourage participation and build student confidence
- Monitor student progress and classroom behaviour
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the academic and activity teams
- Follow safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times
- TEFL or CELTA qualification
- Experience teaching young learners and/or international students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and adaptable personality
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience teaching students aged 11-16
- Degree-level education
- Competitive pay: £28-£29 per hour
