Role & Mission – What You\’ll Do As a Senior 2D Animator at Homa, you\’ll be at the heart of the visual experience for our top-performing casual puzzle game All in Hole . You won\’t just animate — you\’ll lead animation efforts, elevate our artistic identity, and drive pipeline improvements. Your animations will shape how players connect emotionally with the game and keep coming back for more. Your key responsibilities include: Create stunning 2D animations: Craft visually compelling, optimized animations for mobile that define the look and feel of our game — from characters to gameplay moments to UI transitions. Own the animation pipeline: Take full creative and technical ownership of our workflows. Refine existing processes, implement new techniques, and champion scalable solutions for long-term success. Collaborate across disciplines: Partner with game designers, artists, and developers to bring gameplay concepts to life, ensuring seamless integration within the game vision and technical requirements. Lead innovation & optimization: Prototype new styles, troubleshoot technical challenges, and optimize workflows to balance visual quality with mobile performance. We\’re seeking a Senior 2D Animator with a strong creative voice and technical expertise in mobile game development. You thrive both as a creator and a systems thinker — able to animate characters that pop and design workflows that improve team efficiency. 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation for casual games, with a portfolio showcasing character animations, expressive movements, and engaging UI transitions for mobile. Advanced proficiency in Unity and Spine, including rigging, keyframing, and optimization for mobile performance. Ability to manage the entire animation pipeline from concept to implementation, collaborating effectively with artists, designers, and developers. Experience in refining workflows, mentoring team members, and solving complex challenges. Deep understanding of mobile constraints and a knack for balancing visuals with performance. Proficiency with tools like Adobe Animate, After Effects, Photoshop, or RIVE is a plus.
