Overview

Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding job?

Holywood Play Company are currently looking for a part time permanent Playworker.

Applicants are required to work between 16 and 20 hours per week. Monday – Friday 1.45 pm – 5.45pm term time and 8.30 am – 5.45 pm in the school holidays.

Candidates must be able to work as part of a team. A Level 3 qualification in Playwork or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Experience of working with children aged 4–12 years is essential.

Hourly rate – minimum wage for age.

The role will require you to:

  • Work alongside other staff in the general running of the club ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to, whilst ensuring that a happy , safe and fun environment is provided for all the children
  • Escort children safely between local schools and the after schools club building.
  • Attend staff meetings/ training courses (out of club hours) and be flexible to work extra hours if required.

Holywood Play Company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people. We require the successful applicant to undertake an Enhanced Access NI check and further Social Services and health checks.
