Holywood Golf Club is a thriving and progressive members’ club with a strong reputation for player development and coaching. With a membership of over 1,200, we offer a vibrant and engaged golfing community, providing an excellent platform for a motivated coach to build and grow a successful coaching business. Our facilities include:
- Short game and practice areas
- On-site gym and fitness facilities
- A busy clubhouse and professional shop
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and personable Teaching Professional to deliver high-quality coaching to members and visitors of all ages and abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a PGA-qualified (or equivalent) professional looking to develop their coaching profile within a well-supported environment. The role will involve:
- Delivering individual and group coaching sessions
- Developing junior and beginner programmes
- Supporting member engagement and participation initiatives
- Contributing to the continued growth of coaching at the club
There is also the opportunity to undertake additional hours within the Professional Shop, offering further income potential.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be PGA qualified (or working towards qualification)
- Have a passion for coaching and player development
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated with the ability to build and manage their own client base
- Be professional, reliable, and a strong ambassador for the club
