Holywell Care Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced recruiter to build our in-house recruitment department from the ground up.
As our Recruitment Lead, you'll handle everything from filling today's vacancies to shaping how we attract, choose and keep the care and support staff our services across Lancashire rely on. You'll work directly with our company directors, and your role, responsibilities and earnings will grow in step with your performance, with real scope to build a team around you.
Your duties will include:
- Leading recruitment across Morecambe, Preston and the surrounding areas
- Proactively finding great care and support staff and building strong local candidate pipelines
- Running targeted local and social media recruitment campaigns, and making our job adverts stand out on every platform
- Giving candidates a smooth journey, from application to their first day
- Partnering with service managers on current and future hiring needs
- Building links with colleges, universities, Jobcentres and community groups, and opening up student, graduate and referral routes into Holywell
- Representing Holywell at job fairs and careers events
- Tracking what works: channel quality, value, appointments and retention
- Setting up the systems, processes and strategy for a growing recruitment department
Pay: £30,000 basic salary plus performance bonuses of up to £6,000 (up to £36,000 in total), based on successful appointments who stay with us beyond an agreed retention period: £1,500 at 50 retained hires, a further £2,000 at 100 and a further £2,500 at 150.
You'll also get mileage paid for approved business travel, varied work spanning campaigns, sourcing, partnerships and workforce planning, and a clear path into a wider recruitment leadership role.
Qualifications
- Significant, proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or sourcing
- A track record of successful hires
- Confidence approaching candidates and building pipelines
- Good knowledge of the Lancashire job market
- Strong organisation across multiple vacancies at once
- The credibility to work alongside service managers and company directors
- Creative ways of reaching people beyond the job boards
- Comfort working towards recruitment and retention targets
